Magic Class!!
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Children are guaranteed to have a great time as
they learn fascinating tricks from professional
magician Gary Kantor. Amaze family and friends
with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-
reading and more. While the tricks may appear
difficult, you'll discover that they are quick to learn
and easy to perform. All materials are provided,
and each child receives a magic kit to take home.
Children are grouped by age and will learn tricks
that are age-appropriate. Additionally, you can sign
up for this class again and again since brand new
tricks are taught each session!

Circus One-Day Workshops
Supervisor: Laura Greeley
Have you wanted to ride a unicycle or spin plates on a
stick or hang from a trapeze? Well this is the prefect
place to try your hand at the circus! Participants will
get to explore various circus equipment in a fun and
safe learning enviornment.
Sunday, Jan 10: Juggling
Learn the basic skills needed to start juggling! This 2
hour workshop will fly by, just like the objects do ... as
you learn your hand at this circus act!
Sunday, Feb 7: Ground Acts
Plate spinning, ground acrobatics, a little bit of jug-
gling and more! This 2 hour workshop will introduce
you to the ground acts performed at the curcs ... sign
up to goof around with us today!
Sunday, March 6: Aerials
Hang from the trapeze like a real circus performer!
This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to proper
ways to execute aerial acrobatics on the trapeze,
following the safety guidelines demonstrated by the
instructors.
Sunday, Mar 20: A Little Bit of Everything
Juggle, spin plates, or hang from the trapeze! This
2 hour workshop will introduce you to a little bit of
everything our circus programs have to offer.

Stage Stars
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Your time to shine, its acting time! In Stage Stars
children will learn theater terms, play games, and
act in short skits. During theater games, students will
use their creativity to communicate and improvise.
The carefully selected skits are based on folk tales
that teach cooperation and positive moral values.
Every student will have the opportunity to play at
least one lead role. Also, Stage Stars participants can
earn prizes for identifying and explaining parts of a
skit and goals of the characters. Parents are invited to
attend the final performance on the last day of class!

Amigos Spanish
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! In
Amigos Spanish Club, children will learn numbers,
colors, shapes, greetings, days of the week and more.
We will be singing, clapping, and counting our way
towards learning the Spanish Language. Each child
will receive a participation award.

Youth Arts
Guitar Stars
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
Learning to play the guitar is fun! In Guitar Stars, the
children will learn the fundamentals of guitar
playing, including holding the guitar and pick,
proper fret-hand finger position, sight reading,
playing by ear, and playing basic songs. Also, as the
children progress, they will have the opportunity to
test for "Guitar Belts", a fun motivational system
patterned after martial arts. Each child will receive
a participation award and guitar-related prizes. You
must provide your own guitar for this course.
