Parent/Tot Skating
Ages 3-5 with parent
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Skating is fun, and great exercise for you and your
child! This class teaches toddlers beginning skating
skills, with Mom or Dad right there to help them
feel safe. We'll teach your child how to fall down
and get up, march and march while moving on the
ice. Parents will need basic skating skills in order to
skate with their child. Helmets recommended. Fee
covers one child and one parent; register child only.

SnowPlow Sam 1
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Helps skaters develop the preliminary coordination
and strength to be comfortable on ice and to
maneuver on the ice. Level 1 introduces students
to skating through sitting and standing in skates,
marching in place, marching forward, gliding and
dipping.

SnowPlow Sam 2
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Prerequisite: Passing SnowPlow Sam 1.
Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam
2 develops marching into glides, moving dips,
backward wiggle, rocking horse swizzles, forward
swizzles, and two foot hop.

SnowPlow Sam 3
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Prerequisite: Passing SnowPlow Sam 2.
Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam 3
develops forward skating, one foot glides, traveling
forward and backward swizzles, forward snowplow
stops and curves.

Dance & Skate
Ages 3-4 (no parent)
Supervisor: Stefany Cotton/Kyle Sandine
Participants will start with a Twinkle Toes class
from 9:40 to 10:20am. After class they will be
escorted to the ice arena where instructors will
help them get skates on for a Snowplow Sam 1
class from 10:30 to 11:00am. Both classes will help
children learn how to control and use their bodies,
relate to other children and express themselves
through introductory skill work in dance and
skating.
