This 45 minute program will provide your child additional exposure to their ABC's, socialization, and fun! Through yoga, song, dance, and art, your child will create connections between letters and movement. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 03/28 Language Learners: French and Spanish Supervisor: Amanda Heiman In these classes young learners will be exposed to Spanish and French words and phrases as they socialize and interact with their peers during small and large group activities. Foods, art, music and stories will be part of the fun as participants gain an appreciation for other cultures. This is an introductory class that will involve repetition to increase exposure, comprehension, and connections to everyday activities that are familiar to our learners. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 03/29; 03/31 Sunday Funday Supervisor: Amanda Heiman This program is great for parents and kids! Spend your Sunday in whatever fun way you want . . . watching the game, shopping, or a late lunch with friends . . . while your child socializes with new friends their age at the Stevenson Indoor Playground. Projects, activities, free play indoors and out - weather permitting, will fill your child's 2.5 hour time . . . what will fill yours? Min 6/Max 12 Clay, Paint & Draw Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Busy hands mean busy minds. Engage in an afternoon of art exploring the richness of clay and play dough, the power of the paint brush, and the creativity of the crayon! Different projects will be introduced to your child each week as they begin to create their very first portfolio of work. The adult-assisted program will incorporate similar projects and activities adjusted to meet the needs and age of participants. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 03/29 Early Childhood Fun Toddler Exploration Time at the Oak Park Conservatory Supervisor: Patti Staley 3rd Friday of the month, Sept-May 10:30-11:15am (18-30 month olds) 12:15-1:00pm (3-5 year olds) This special interactive time for you and your child will open up the natural world as you explore together the wonders of nature at the Oak Park Conservatory. You and your child will interact dur- ing guided activities, facilitated by a Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory docent, and highlighting a different topic each month. Come ready to have fun and learn about nature with your child. Space is limited to 18 children and their caregivers for each event.. Max 18. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory.
