10 www.pdop.org SPECIAL EVENTS Special Events DANCE-A-THON! Saturday, Feb 20, Noon - 8pm at Longfellow Center ALL AGES WELCOME Supervisor: Karyn DeYoung Come dressed in the attire of your favorite decade, costumes encouraged! Bring your best moves, a partner and your stamina for this all day event to compete for a Grand Prize. For 8 hours, with a few scheduled breaks, show us what you've got. To start, as long as your're movin' and groovin' you're still in the race, then every other hour we will ask you to dance in a specific style as an extra challenge. Any- one who stops dancing or is not dancing in the style of the hour will lose their chance at the Grand Prize and the last person dancing will be our winner! If you love to dance, but don't want to compete, come along and dance without the pressure. There will be mini-games for small prizes to be won as well as food and drink to be enjoyed by everyone! Sign in will begin at 11am and tutorial for the "style of the hour" dances will be at 11:30-12. $15 to compete, only $10 to just dance. Each themed evening includes a pizza dinner, snacks, games, crafts and a G or PG rated movie. Don't miss out on the fun!!
