Please send your camper dressed in their swimsuit every day. Squish, Ooze, BOOM! Grades K-3 Channel your inner scientist with a week full of experimentation. Aer making slime, testing volcanoes, and more, your little one will be a certified junior scientist by the end of the week! Mad Science: Eureka Camp Grades K-5 Curious about inventing? is five-day camp will have your children bringing home designs and devices created and assembled during their inspired journey assimilating their own inventive process. Learn to write notes backwards like Leonardo daVinci, be part of a complex human machine, use your creativity to escape from a deserted island, improve on airplane designs and even make your own light stick to take home! Mad Science: Super Science Camp Grades 3-5 Have super fun with science in this five-day camp exploring a variety of topics. Become a DNA Detective while you discover what's inside cells and explore space and rockets. Go up . . . up . . and away with kites and hot air balloons; learn to write and decipher secret Mad Messages and create some Radical Reactions that will bubble, flash, and more! Lots of science to uncover in this camp. Mad Science: Camp Exploration Grades 3-5 Explore the world around you and the wonders inside you too! Make animal tracks while you learn how animals adapt to their environment. Make "brain goo" and check out your bones as you travel the organ trail and uncover the secrets to your own body. Create your own paper and make a snack using the power of the sun while you learn to protect the earth. Discover the science that's behind some of your favorite sports and become a Mad Science detective, using your forensic skills to solve a crime. ere's some science for everyone in this camp! Myth Busters Week Grades 3-6 "Busted" or "Confirmed," you be the judge! In this one week camp, participants will test key elements of popular beliefs, internet rumors or other myths. We will replicate the circumstance and duplicate the results, making predications along the way. Compete one myth against the next, in this action packed camp. Mighty Mathematics Grades 3-5 is class is an exciting way for your child to practice their math skills while having fun. Math enrichment activities include Magic Money Machine, making a Magic Band, and working out a Magic Square. We also find out how many pieces of candy can fit in the classroom, talk about symmetry, and play math card games, among many other fun math-related activities. We will also play team games with prizes. Your children will come home with a passion for math and a greater understanding of math's real-world applications. "Let's Build It" Engineering Grades 2-6 is class takes a hands-on approach to engi- neering, allowing students to directly engage with basic engineering concepts through a variety of fun and educational activities. Stu- dents will improve their problem solving, math, and physics skills–all while engaging in exciting building projects. Each day focuses on a specific area of engineering, like flight, bridge building, and tower construction. Campers final projects will be tested and certificates awarded for their progress during the camp. Wacky Wild Olympics Grades 1-4 While Team USA is competing in Brazil, we will be having our own crazy competition right here in Oak Park! Teams will compete in challenges like sack races, obstacle courses, and more in hopes to bring home the gold medal.
