Parent/Tot Skating
Ages 3-5 with parent
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Skating is fun, and great exercise for you and your
child! is class teaches toddlers beginning skating
skills, with Mom or Dad right there to help them
feel safe. We'll teach your child how to fall down
and get up, march and march while moving on
the ice. Parents will need basic skating skills in
order to skate with their child. Bicycle helmets
recommended. Fee covers one child and one parent;
register child only.

SnowPlow Sam 1
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Snowplow Sam help skaters develop the
preliminary coordination and strength to be
comfortable on ice and to maneuver on the ice.
Level 1 introduces students to skating through
sitting and standing in skates, marching in place,
marching forward, gliding and dipping.
Class does not meet 5/28
SnowPlow Sam 2
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing
permission from level 1 prior to entering this level.
Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam
2 develops marching into glides, moving dips,
backward wiggle, rocking horse swizzles, forward
swizzles, and two foot hop.
Class does not meet 5/28
SnowPlow Sam 3
Ages 3-5 (no parent)
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing
permission from level 2 prior to entering this level.
Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam 3
develops forward skating, one foot glides, traveling
forward and backward swizzles, forward snowplow
stops and curves.
Class does not meet 5/28
Basic 1
Ages 6-15
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Basic 1 is for participants who are new to figure
skating. Participants learn to sit and stand up,
marching, forward glides, dip, travel forward
swizzles, backward wiggles, snowplow stop, rocking
horse and two foot hop.
Class does not meet 5/28
Basic 2
Ages 6-15
Supervisor: Kyle Sandine
Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing
permission from level 2 prior to entering this level.
Building from the previous level, Basic 3 develops
forward stroking, half swizzle pumps on a circle,
forward and backward moving two foot turn,
backward one foot glide, forward slalom, and two
foot spin.
Class does not meet 5/28
Skating - Youth
Any participant enrolled in a February-
March skating or hockey session will receive
$10 off the May-June session of programs.
