Chess Scholars Camp
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
is camp is designed for both beginners and
experienced young players. All participants will learn
cool new strategies at the appropriate level from a
renowned Chess Scholars coach. Children will have
an opportunity to test for a Chess Belt
©
under a
unique Chess Scholars system patterned aer martial
arts belts. Each class will consist of a fun interactive
teaching period and guided practice time. ere will
also be a chess competition with prizes! Each camper
will take home a chess set and an award. Please bring
your own allergy-friendly snacks.

Passport to Adventure (Ages 5-12)
Supervisor: Mike Loszach
Enjoy your Spring Break with our Passport to
Adventure program. Each day's schedule is packed
with a daily field trip, high energy games, unique
cras and a combination of structured and self-
directed activities to keep your child engaged. is
program is from 8:00am-3:00pm. If care is needed
aer 3:00pm, please sign up for the extended
version, which runs from 8:00am-6:00pm.

The Park District of Oak
Park is now hosting open
gym basketball for Oak Park
residents at Fenwick High
School! A yearlong open
gym pass can be purchased
at GRC or RCRC for $10.
SCHEDULE:
• Wednesdays, 7:15-9pm
7:15-8pm: Family Open Gym
(parent child - no age restriction w/parent)
8-9pm: Middle School Open Gym
(6-8th Grades)
• Saturdays, 4-6pm
4-5pm: Family Open Gym
(parent child - no age restriction w/parent)
5-6pm: Youth Open Gym (3rd - 5th Grade)
• Saturdays, 6-7pm
Girls Only: 3rd - 8th Grades
