SCAW Spring Break Camp
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
is camp is designed for students to explore their
creativity. A new project medium will be introduced
each day. Students will create art indoors and
even out (weather permitting), engage in three 50
minute art lessons in the morning, spend time in
the "creative studio" which is an open ended area
filled with art supplies. Aer lunch campers will
engage in games, free choice, outdoor time, and
more! Sign up to get creative with us in this camp!
Regular camp runs from 8:00AM-3:00PM
Extended care runs from 8:00AM-6:00PM
Youth Arts Program (SCAW)
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
is 4-week art course will get your child excited
about the arts. Each 4 week session will cover a
different medium. In each evening class artists will
create masterpieces that are sure to be wall worthy:
Section I: Drawing & Painting
rough exploring line drawings, compositions,
still lifes and more, artists will gain a better
understanding of fundamental drawing techniques
as they sketch and plan their way to a final, painted
master piece. Different media such as graphite and
charcoal will be introduced.
Section II: Mixed Media
Your artist will use different materials such as
fabric, paper, found objects, cardboard, chicken
fence, etc. to make 3D objects. Each week in this
4-week session a different project will be assigned.

Creative Arts Workshops
Supervisor: Amanda Heiman
is one-day workshop is designed for students to explore their creativity, get you out of the house and excited
ART! A different medium and topic will be the focus of each workshop. Material exploration in addition to
guided instruction will make up the 2-hour workshop. Workshops cover a variety of topics and a take home
project will be created in each:
Paper & Fabrics
Join us as we weave our way throw this workshop. From sewing to collaging students will explore creative ways
to create art with fabrics. In addition to fabrics . . . paper can be used for collage, writing a letter, or weaving. In
this workshop your child will learn new and exciting ways to use paper & fabrics
Creative Cooking
Food is the center of our lives! Spend this workshop mixing, chopping, & prepping for a masterpiece you can
eat. Art projects will be created in addition food preparation & exploration as we always need time for our food
to cook! Please be sure to inform the supervisor of any allergies.
Authors & Illustrators-Cartooning
Find the story within you and the illustrations to go along with it! Using instructor-led discussions, inspirations
from your favorite characters and more. Students will get creative with cartooning in this workshop.
Photo Art & Collage
Take the ordinary and see extraordinary! Bring in one
of your favorite photos into this workshop to and learn
to zoom-in, zoom-out, look at objects or scenery from
a different perspective, and create a frame worthy
compositions . . . all inspired by your photograph!
