skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense
will be taught. Games will also be played to show
the importance of teamwork in game situations.

Quidditch

Bring your broom and learn how to play this
popular game just like Harry Potter! is class will
teach participants the basic rules of the game while
emphasizing fun. Drills and scrimmages will take
place in this hour-long class.

Boys Lacrosse

Ante-Up's mission is to introduce and prepare young
lacrosse players for their future high school career.
We teach sound fundamentals through competitive,
team-based lacrosse. is model ties in leadership,
sportsmanship, and helps build a player's character,
as well as improving his skills. is program is
run by Fenwick's Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Jerry
Considine and Lyons Township's Varsity Lacrosse
Coach Tim Duffy. Coach Duffy is an OPRF HS alum,
the current U19 Irish National Team Head Assistant
Coach, played D1 and Professional Lacrosse, and
was the 2013 Chicago Catholic League Coach of
the Year. Teams will compete in the Illinois Boys
Lacrosse Association. Practices take place twice
per week in River Forest on Monday & Wednesday.
ere will be approximately eight games held
Sundays (4 home, 4 away). Players need the
following equipment by the start of the
program: Gloves, Stick, helmet, mouth
guard, protective cup, elbow pads,
shoulder pads. Equipment can be

Girls Lacrosse

Be part of a community-based lacrosse league just
for girls! e IGLA follows all Positive Coaching
Alliance guidelines and the goal is to teach the
rules of lacrosse within an active teamwork setting,
encourage sportsmanship, and foster personal
development in a respectful environment. Pink
teams master the fundamentals of lacrosse. ree
league levels include: Level 1: Grades 2-4; Level
2: Grades 5-6; Level 3: Grades 7-8. Practices are
1.5 hours once per week and will take place in Oak
Park or River Forest. All games are held on Sundays
between 12pm-5pm within your division. NEW
THIS SPRING - Fundamentals clinic exclusively
for girls K-2nd grade with the goal to introduce and

Fencing
Supervisor: Chad Drue
Diana Unger, a certified coach with the United
States Fencing Association with more than 25 years
of fencing experience, will teach you the basics of
fencing. Fencing requires patience, concentration,
discipline, and self-awareness. Self-confidence,
self-control, and emotional strength gained from
this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Weapons,
jackets, and masks will be provided and shared
among classmates. Participants must obtain a $10
U.S. Fencing Membership prior to the first day of
