20 www.pdop.org Special Events Wibit Night July 1 & 29, 6:30pm-8:30pm Wibits are jumbo inflatable pool toys. On Wibit nights swimmers have the option of playing a game of volleyball inside a huge inflatable volleyball court, tossing around water polo balls in jumbo inflatable nets, or getting on some inflatable kayaks. A portion of the pool will also still be available for open swim. Pool Pass Holder- Only Nights Select Friday Nights at RCRC pool , 6:30pm-8:30pm June 17 – No Special event TOPS Swim Meet Set-up June 24 – Open Swim July 1 – Wibit Night July 4 – 4th of July America Bash July 8 – No Passholder Night. Teen Splash Bash. July 15 – Night at the Races July 22 – Open Swim July 29 – Wibit Night August 5 – No Passholder Night. Teen Splash Bash. August 12 – School of Rock Band Night Passholder can bring guests with them. Guest admission is $7. 4TH OF JULY AMERICA BASH Passholder Only Swim, 1:00pm-6:00pm Celebrate our nation's independence the most American way possible - at the pool! The RCRC pool will be decked out in its red, white, and blue and the grill will be serving up American dogs and America burgers. Come dressed in red, white, and blue and receive a giveaway at the door. When the pool closes, walk across the park to the RC field to take in the fireworks show. This event is exclusively for PASSHOLDERS ONLY! 4TH OF JULY PUBLIC SKATE 3:00pm-5:00pm – Enjoy VIP access to the ice. Play games on the rink with skate staff, get a mini hockey or ice skating lesson, and be part of the great relay race! The ice will be painted red, white, and blue for the holiday! CELEBRATE ON THE ICE OR AT THE POOL! NIGHT AT THE RACES July 15, 6:30pm-8:30pm Participate in a number of relay races at 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00pm that test your skills including swimming, diving, balance, and coordination. Bring your team or come solo and get linked up on a team. Prizes will be awarded to winners. Pool will have open swim during non-race time. POOL HOUSE ROCK e Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex is partnering with the School of Rock to bring you a concert at the pool. Enjoy an open swim while local artists play your favorite hits.
