Come paint our blank canvases of sidewalk in a high foot traffic area near the train. Show off your artist skills in this friendly competition. We provide the medium and eco- friendly chalk for you to doctor up our walks along Garfield Street. Work as a starving artist or gather a group - amateurs, kids, teens and professionals. Come show your art skills! Min 6/Max 20 Adventure Fort Building Supervisor: Leah Pryor Give your child the good ol' fashion fort building experience. Use wood, sticks, hammers, nails, leaves, moss, and stones to create a space. We will get our hands dirty and build outdoor forts in this 3-day class. Min 8/Max 16 Mini Boat Regatta Supervisor: Leah Pryor Come to the Conservatory to build your own mini boat and watch it float in the Discovery Garden! We will build mini boats out of recycled and natural materials. Boat races will commence in the garden and prizes will be given for different categories! Min 5/Max 15 Lady Bug Picnic Supervisor: Leah Pryor A ladybug picnic is what's in store! We will have food, fun, games and more! Take part in a lady bug release as a special treat. Lady bug release is dependent on weather. Min 5/Max 12 Bubble Fest Supervisor: Leah Pryor Don't let summer slip away without enjoying the simple pleasures! Come for a toast to summer with a bubble fest at the Oak Park Conservatory. Learn how to make eco-friendly bubbles and create bubble wands to take home out of wire, beads and recycled material.
