Besides the opportunity to hear great local bands, we'll have games and chances for the audience to win some really cool prizes just for showing up. And best yet… it's all FREE! Enter Your Band! Teens, this is your chance to get your bands heard! To be considered for the event, submit your application with a demo CD, MP3s, or social media links (YouTube, Sound Cloud, etc.) to Mike Loszach at 218 Madison St. Oak Park, IL 60302 or via email to mike.loszach@pdop.org. e deadline to submit your application is 5:00pm on May 6. Bands must consist of at least 2 members between the ages of 12 and 21 (and at least half of the band members must be no older than 19 years of age) as of August 15, 2016. In addition to a great opportunity to get your band heard, there are some great perks to winning the event! e 2016 winner will also be given the chance to compete in the Regional competition with a chance to earn a spot at the State competition in Springfield. e winning band will also earn the opportunity to headline the Park District's final "Concert in the Park" at Scoville Park on Sunday, August 7th!
