Tennis Lessons
Our youth tennis program consists of 3 age groups of players including Pee
Wee (Ages 4-5), Jr. Youth (Ages 6-9) and Youth (Ages 10-13). You'll learn the
fundamentals of tennis in these programs. See below for descriptions of skills
taught for each age level.
Pee Wee Tennis (Ages 4-5)
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Includes instruction on gripping the racquet, proper tennis swing, ball control
and movement on the tennis court. Min 6/Max 20

Jr. Youth Tennis (Ages 6-9)
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Includes instruction on basic skills and also focuses on forehand, backhand and
the volley. is program is run by USTA certified instructors. Min 6/Max 20

Youth Tennis (Ages 10-13)
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Designed to provide further instruction on forehand and backhand swings, volley
tennis drills and positioning on the court. is program is run by USTA certified

Semi-Private Tennis Lessons
Supervisor: Dan Schaffer
Semi-Private Lessons are designed for young participants who are looking to
expand their skills and fundamentals in the game of tennis. ese lessons have a
maximum of 4 participants per lesson which provides a more detailed structure.
Participants will lean more complex techniques, ball striking skills, and strategies
for success in Tennis. is program is run by USTA certified instructors.

Golf Lessons
Supervisor: Chad Drue
ere is no better way to improve your game than taking lessons from a trained
golf instructor. Group instruction is an excellent way to receive the essential
information on not only how to swing but how to putt, chip, and play the game
better! Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or looking to reduce
your handicap to single digits, make a great investment and take a lesson
from a Professional. Each class will have a 6 to 1 ratio of students to instructor
and lessons focus weekly on proper grip and posture, putting, full swing, and
chipping. e Learning Center at Fresh Meadow Golf Club is located at 11302
Cermak Road in Hillside, IL.
