Adult Sports 2016 Fall Adult Softball Leagues (Ages 18 & up) Supervisor: Chad Drue • Mens 14 inch and Co-ed 14 inch leagues offered • Game times are at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00 and 10:00pm • 8 game regular season + post-season tournament for those who qualify • All games played at Ridgeland Common Park • League fee $732, $682 for all Oak Park resident team (proof of residency req.) • Class does not meet: 9/1or 9/5 Please Note: e Park District of Oak Park reserves the right to place teams into divisions that it feels will produce the most appropriate level of play for all divisions. Factors that will be taken into consideration will include, but are not limited to, the number of teams registered, the relative quality of teams based on recent historical data, and recent feedback from other teams. Competitive League is league is for higher-skilled competitive teams that still enjoy the social aspect of the sport. Recreational/Intermediate League is league is for mid-level skilled, semi- competitive teams that enjoy the social aspect of the sport. Recreational League e Rec league is a good starting point for teams that are looking to have a good time and the major emphasis is on having fun. Work teams or neighborhood teams are an example of teams that would be a fit for this league. Fall 2016 Soball Timeline: Monday, June 13, 8:30am On-line and in-person registration begins for all teams. A deposit of $400 is required to reserve a spot. First come, first served. Friday, August 5 Deadline to register for the spring soball season, if space is available. Note: All registration materials (Team Roster Form, Registration Form) and league fees for both new teams and returning teams are due. If all registration materials and league fees are not received prior to the start of the league, your team will not be placed on the schedule. Week of August 15 season begins DOG PARKS & PERMITS PDOP Dog Park Permits are valid for one calendar year from issue date! 1st Dog: $45 (Add up to two more dogs per household for $5 per dog) Initial key card purchase requires a $10 refundable deposit (renewing cardholders do not need to pay deposit unless card is lost). Permits are available for Oak Park residents only. ey must be purchased IN-PERSON at either RCRC or the GRC - see hours of operation on page 4. Bring proof of residency with you to purchase! Limited number of permits available. Permits are valid for one year from date of purchase. Requirements Owners must provide a valid village dog license receipt including the license number to purchase a permit, as well as proof of current vaccinations for rabies, distemper, kennel cough/bordetella, para- influenza and parvovirus, as well as a fecal test for internal parasites. Dog Park Permit Required for Entry Dog Parks use a key-card access system. Permit holders must bring their permit card to gain access to the facilities. Dog Parks are maintained by PDOP staff and inspected periodically. Owners who are not in compliance with rules may be subject to fines up to $1,000. Questions?
