The Great Indoor Camp Out
Supervisor: Leah Pryor
Do you have last minute holiday wrapping to do and
nowhere to take the kids? Bring them over to Austin
Gardens for a camp out indoors! We will make fun
cras, build forts, read stories by the camp fire and
sing songs all within the comforts of the Austin
Gardens Environmental Education Center. Dress in
your favorite pajamas. Dinner will be provided!

Drop your kids off at this eco-friendly workshop
while you do your holiday shopping. Kids will learn
the benefits of recycling and repurposing materials
while they make earth friendly creative gis for
everyone in the family!

holidays? Or give your parents an evening off by
cooking for them? Come to Cheney Mansion and

Join us for a celebration of fairy tales and the plants
that inspire them. Sit back and enjoy a reading of
one of your favorite fairy tales and then make a
plant themed cra inspired by the story!

Little Helpers Workshop
Supervisor: Kim Hudson
e Park District elves need helping hands to
make sure stockings are decorated, toys are made,
candy is wrapped, and lists are checked. Wear your
favorite cozy pajamas to an evening at the Oak Park
Conservatory as we help the elves get ready for the
season. Participants will rotate through stations
including a cra, toy testing, story time, and candy
making. Is your little helper ready for the holiday
season? Dinner is provided. is is a drop off

Pirates Adventures

Who doesn't want to join in the fun with a little
pirate mischief. Don't miss out on coming dressed
as a pirate and meeting the one and only HOOK

to hook making, to finding treasures one does not

Join us for an evening of bravery, daring activities,
following clues, and our red-headed guest, Princess
Merida from Brave! Have your little princesses dress
up as their favorite lady royal and come spend the
evening with us for fun activities, dinner, and our

Paint and Sip

is is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy painting
on a crisp fall evening in the lovely surroundings of
Cheney Mansion. Painting the beautiful historic site
of Oak Park. You don't have to be a Rembrandt to
enjoy this fun program with your little one! Ladies
and kids can enjoy a glass of sparkling grape juice as
you hone your painting skills. Price is per person.
