36 www.pdop.org Parent-Tot Skate Times Mondays & Fridays, 9:15-10:15am Finally, there is a time on the ice just for parents and children. What better way to develop motor skills, balance, and agility than to come out on the ice in a time just for you. Skating aids will be available and the rink will be open to only children under the age of 6. All children must be supervised by parents and no adults are allowed without a child. Start a new routine this fall and visit the ice rink for a fun and educational experience! Admission $4 per child. Parents FREE, skate rental $3. Skate Rental & Pre-Paid Passes Rental skates are available for all skate sessions and lessons for $3 a pair or by pre-paid pass. Pre-paid passes will reduce the cost for skate rental and the programs below. ese passes are loaded onto your universal printed pass and can be purchased at any time online or in-person at Customer Service. Daily Admission Rat Hockey & Freestyle: $10 Stick & Puck: $7 Pre-Paid Pass: 10 for $75 Individual Skate Rental: $3 Pre-Paid Skate Rental Pass: 10 skate rentals for $20 Freestyle Sessions Freestyle ice time is for skaters who are looking for additional time to practice their skills individually or with a coach. ese sessions are available only to those skaters registered in the Skate Academy program. Basic 8 and below may use the ice when accompanied by a coach. (September-March) Fee: $10 or by pre-paid pass; 10 visits for $75 Schedule September 3 - April 1 • Monday: 5:45 - 9:00am • Tuesday: 7:30 - 8:30pm • Wednesday: 7:15 - 9:00am • Friday: 5:45 - 9:00am • Saturday: 7:45 - 9:15 am Open Hockey Practice Times e Park District of Oak Park offers Rat Hockey times and Stick and Puck times. Rat Hockey times are meant for players age 18+ to organize drop-in games. Stick and Puck can be used for scrimmages, but also for skill-building and practice. When needed, based on attendance, the ice will be divided and four nets will be available. Equipment required: skates, shin pads, gloves, hockey pants, and a helmet. Uncommon Fun For Everyone! Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex Public Skate Don't sit at home and watch TV all weekend when you could be skating. Come out and skate at the Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex. Public skates are packed full of excitement featuring rocking music and a high energy atmosphere. A beginner's area provides a calm space to get comfortable. Haven't skated in a while? Ridgeland Common is the place to get back on the ice. Round up the family, your friends, significant other, or come by yourself to a new and exciting public skate experience. Admission: $7 (or by pass) Skate rental: $3 (or by punch card) Schedule: Sept. 3, 2016 - Apr. 1, 2017 • Friday, 6:15-8:15pm • Saturday, 7:30-9:45pm • Sunday, 1:45-3:45pm No public skate during Ice Show. Noon Skate Take a break from the office and relax with ice skating at RCRC. Enjoy smaller crowds and a lower admission fee by skating during the week! Homeschool Skate Homeschool students may attend Noon Skate the first Tuesday of each month to skate and receive a mini lesson with a park district skate instructor.
