L L OOKING OOKING A A HEAD HEAD In January of 2016, we said good-bye to our friend, John Garrett Thorpe. John was an important advocate for historic preservation and a much-revered restoration architect. For his many contributions to Pleasant Home, we are pleased to dedicate the restoration of our stunning front entry art glass windows in John's memory. This important project will include restoration of the two exterior windows plus the restoration and reinstallation of the two entryway door windows! This monumental undertaking will require significant funds; we hope our many donors and supporters will generously contribute to this project, a.k.a. "John's Windows". In 2017, our "Preservation in Person" "Preservation in Person" "Preservation in Person" "Preservation in Person" series theme will be centered on Coach Houses and their modern, adaptive reuse. This series includes annual lectures, Walk & Talk tours and our bi- annual Fall House Tour. Check our website for details for these and other amazing events!
