L R R Rhythm & Coordination L R R Rhythm & Coordination Power Speed & Agility Hand-eye Coordination Cognitive Balance & Core Advanced Jump & Spin Ages 6-18 Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from the Skate Academy Coordinator prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Advance Jump and Spin will develop double jumps and advanced spinning including fl ying camel and fl ying sit spin, illusions, continuous walleys, rockers and counters pattern. e fi rst 10 minutes of class will be a warm-up and edge class. Min 4/Max 10 Class does not meet: 5/27 Tackle That Axel Ages 6-18 Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Prerequisite: Skaters must be currently enrolled in Free Skate 6 and up to enroll for this class. e most diffi cult jumps to master are the Axel Jumps and Double Jumps. is class gives skaters the opportunity to focus on these jumps and work closely with the instructor on the key elements necessary to achieving these jumps. Min 4/Max 8 Creative Skating Ages 6-18 Supervisor: Kayla Fauria is class will cover creative spins, spirals, moves, jumps and footwork. Skaters will have an opportunity to showcase their creative side which includes interpretive skating, connecting sequences, and combinations. e use of hoops, balls, and ribbons will be incorporated. Skaters must be in levels Basic 2 - Free Skate 4. Min 4/Max 15 Adult Beginner Ages 16+ Supervisor: Kayla Fauria e adult beginner class is designed for the adult new to skating. It promotes physical fi tness and improved balance and coordination while teaching proper skating techniques. is level introduces skating by developing falling and recovery, forward marching, forward glides and forward swizzles, snowplow stops, two foot turns and gliding into dips.
