L R R Rhythm & Coordination Power Speed & Agility Hand-eye Coordination Cognitive Balance & Core L R Rhythm & Coordination Speed & Agility Cognitive Creative Movement Supervisor: Candace Lee An explorative class that focuses on natural dance movement, imaginative play, musicality, and independence. Children roll, stretch, jump, dart, and swing while learning about body, eff ort, shape, space, time, and direction. is program teaches children to play with purpose and to begin listening to directions from a teacher. Min 6/Max 12 Beginning Ballet Supervisor: Candace Lee Dancers begin to develop turn out, body alignment, etiquette, and elementary barre and center work. Lively music, rhythmic interpretation of music, and imaginative play create a stage for positive self- awareness and connectedness to peers. Min 6/Max 12 Beginning Ballet 2 Supervisor: Candace Lee Dancers continue to develop turn out, body alignment, discipline, intermediate barre and center work, and corps de ballet sequences. Dancers will develop positive self-awareness and connectedness to peers. Beginning Ballet must be taken at least twice in order to take Beginning Ballet 2, unless given permission by your instructor. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 5/29 Beg Ballet and Tap Supervisor: Candace Lee is class will expose your little one to two styles of dance. Students will develop turnout, coordination, beginning tap skills, spatial awareness, and discipline in this combination technique class. Develop both friendships and the love of dance in this beginning dance class. Lessons will focus on basic positions, proper ballet movements, and terminology as well as coordination and rhythm. Min 6/Max 12 Ballet & Jazz Supervisor: Candace Lee Using ballet as a foundation for this class, dancers will refi ne basic ballet movements, positions, and technique. Students will learn basic jazz skills and technique by referring to the methods learned in ballet. Lessons will include diff erent ways for children to coordinate their bodies while dancing to diff erent kinds of music and rhythms. is class consists of 30 minutes of ballet and 30 minutes of jazz so children can be exposed to both dance styles. Min 6/Max 12
