Safe Sitter® prepares students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who is choking, and helpful information like what to do if there' is severe weather. e lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. A pizza lunch is included! Safe Sitter® Course Content: • Safety Skills: Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. • Child Care Skills: Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering. • Life & Business Skills: e ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success now and in the future. Students practice these skills through various role plays. Min 5/Max 15 PDOP Youth Game Club Supervisor: Mike Loszach Are video games a passion of yours? If so, the PDOP Youth Game Club is what you're looking for! Each "meeting" will offer each participant the chance to play numerous games new and old with each other in a friendly environment. What a great way to hang out with your friends over the weekend and discuss video games! Don't worry parents, all of the games and content will be age appropriate. is program will be run by video game enthusiasts and all the games and equipment will be provided. Min 5/Max 20 Chasers Laser Tag Supervisor: Mike Loszach It's time for our own private VIP Friday Night Laser Tag party! We are heading to Chasers Laser Tag in Naperville, IL for 2 hours of laser tag, video games, and pizza. All participants will get to play four or more games of laser tag as well as have access to the climbing area, free arcade games, X-Box versus room, and robot battle stations for the entire two hour party. Get your weekend started off the right way with this laser tag party! Min 6/Max 13 F l a s h l i g h t FRIDAY, MARCH 24 8:30-9:30P e quest for the Golden Egg begins! Supervisor: Mike Loszach Treat-filled eggs will be hidden throughout the park for this teen-only event. Your challenge is to find as many eggs as you can using only a flashlight and to be the one and only teen to find the Golden Egg and claim the official Golden Egg Prize. Don't forget to bring a flashlight! e first part of the event will be the individual egg hunt and search for the Golden Egg. e second part of the event will feature the Easter Egg Team Decoder game as teams will have to solve clues which will lead them to their prize! Min 12/Max 100 Spring Break... For Spring Break options, see page 32-33. Movie&PJ Party! Get ready to sing and dance at this fun and entertaining event on page 30.
