46 www.pdop.org Skating - Youth Parent/Tot Skating Ages 3-5 with parent Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Skating is fun, and great exercise for you and your child! is class teaches toddlers beginning skating skills, with Mom or Dad right there to help them feel safe. We will teach your child how to fall down and get up, march and march while moving on the ice. Parents will need basic skating skills in order to skate with their child. Bicycle helmets recommended. Fee covers one child and one parent; register child only. Min 4/Max 20 Snowplow Sam 1 Ages 3-5 (no parent) Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Snowplow Sam helps skaters develop the preliminary coordination and strength to be comfortable and to maneuver on the ice. Level 1 introduces students to skating through sitting and standing in skates, marching in place, marching forward, gliding and dipping. Min 4/Max 4 Snowplow Sam 2 Ages 3-5 (no parent) Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from Snowplow Sam 1 prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam 2 develops marching into glides, moving dips, backward wiggle, rocking horses, forward swizzles, and two foot hops! Min 4/Max 12 Snowplow Sam 3/4 Ages 3-5 (no parent) Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from Snowplow Sam 2 prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam 3 develops forward skating, one foot glides, traveling forward and backward swizzles, forward snowplow stops and curves. Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from Snowplow Sam 3 prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Snowplow Sam 4 develops stroking, backward two-foot glide, back swizzles, rocking horse, two-foot turns and two-foot hops. Our special pricing structure for Summer 2017 will allow you to relax without having to worry about missing class! Signing up for 6, 7 or 8 week options allows you to pick which days you will miss class whether it is the first or last day, or even a day or two in the middle. What if you only sign up for 6, but turns out you can make it to all 8? No worries, just visit the Customer Service Desk to adjust your classes.
