On select days when District 97 students are off, we've got some fun field trips and activities planned that you can sign up for! Spend your day off with us: laughing, exploring, and trying something new! Regular care is offered from 8am-3pm and extended care is offered from 8am-6pm. Discover the Elsie Jacobsen Discovery Garden at the Oak Park Conservatory Saturdays, 10:30A-12:30P March-October (weather permitting) FREE EVENT Come and try hands-on activities and learn about our new garden with our garden docents. Learn about native Illinois ecosystems and have fun playing in the garden! Topics include: • May/June: Sound Exploration We will explore many ways to make garden music through drumming, rhythm sticks, and a sound wall. You may discover some ideas to try at home! • July/August: Water Play Water wheels, pouring play, water flow wall with hoses, tubes and cogs and an Archimedes screw will be in the garden to play. • September/October: Fossils Find the fossils buried in the play area, sort real fossils and create your own fossils. S I X T H A N N U A L Forest Park Kids Triathlon Join the Park District of Forest Park as we kick off Fall with our 6th Annual Kids Triathlon throughout the park. This event is open to boys and girls from ages 7 to 14. Waves will be based on both age and gender. T-shirt and participation medal included.
