Purchase a yearlong open gym pass at GRC or RCRC for only $10. • All attendees must have a pass. • Children in 6th - 8th grades may attend by themselves. • Children in 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by a parent/adult. • Any adults in attendance must be accompanying a child. SCHEDULE: • Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00P • Saturdays, 4:00-7:00P Please note that, on some dates, we will not have access to the gym. Practice your jump shot as teams will be formed each program night playing games on a rotating basis. Play only, no instruction is given. Children are not allowed in the facility. Min 10/Max 18 Class does not meet: 10/9 Fencing Supervisor: Chad Drue En garde! Diana Unger, a certified coach with the United States Fencing Association with more than 25 years of fencing experience, will teach you the basics of fencing. Fencing requires patience, concentration, discipline, and self- awareness. Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional strength gained from this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Weapons, jackets, and masks will be provided and shared among classmates.*Participants must obtain a $10 US Fencing Membership prior to the first day of class. Each card is good for ten nights of play. A valid pass must be presented to the supervisor before entering the gym. is program is for players who have participated in competitive volleyball (high school or college team participation or very competitive rec league play). Six teams rotate and play two matches a night using two nets. e teams waiting in rotation must score, officiate and record the games in play. is program includes ten (10) week regular season games plus playoffs. Min 4/Max 6 Class does not meet: 11/22 Adult Pickleball Supervisor: Chad Drue What is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.A? It's PICKLEBALL. Pickleball is a paddle sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Pickleball can be played on a tennis court with the dimensions of a badminton court and a lowered net. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Players registered will play pickup games on a rotating basis. No instruction is given. Equipment will be provided by the Park District. Min 8/Max 16 Class does not meet: 11/22 Adult Skateboarding Lessons Supervisor: Dan Schaffer is class is designed for adults who want to brush- up old skills, learn new tricks, or start from scratch. And it's a chance for parents of skateboarders to find out why your children love skateboarding so much. Because skateboarding is an individual sport, participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of tips and pointers. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. e skate park will be closed to the public during skateboarding lessons. Min 3/Max 4
