35 www.pdop.org Holiday Events Conservatory Candlelight Walk Friday, December 1, 6:00-8:00P Pre-registration required Enjoy the beauty of the season with a candlelight walk at the Oak Park Conservatory. Enjoy holiday carolers, holiday deserts and drinks! Two drinks per adult. Children can visit with Santa amongst the beautiful poinsettias and have their photo taken. Adults can sip cocktails and shop our Winter Greens Market and poinsettia sale. Register online or in-person at the Oak Park Conservatory. Preregistration is required. Two drink tickets per adult. Activity # 435903-02 Holiday Open House Sunday, December 3, 10:00A-4:00P Deck the Conservatory & your home during our Holiday Open House Sunday, December 3. Come help us get ready for the holiday season! Kids can take part in free cras. Our Winter Greens Market will be open with garden staff on hand. Wreath making workshops for adults, botanical holiday gis for gardeners, refreshments, and more! Poinsettias and paper whites will be on display for sale. Lunch with the Grinch at Cheney Mansion Sunday, December 17, 12:00-1:30P or 2:00-3:30P Supervisor: Susan Crane e Grinch and Max are bringing Whoville to Cheney Mansion! Put on your Grinchy green and add a Whoville hairdo and join us for a festive Holiday lunch where you will have your chance to help the Grinch's heart grow ten times it's size! e Grinch and Max will be on hand to visit and play games and maybe discover that Christmas doesn't come from a store and means a little bit more! Every family member attending must be registered. Tickets are non- refundable and cannot be exchanged for different seatings. All children must be accompanied by an adult. A suggested $2 donation to the Oak Park Food Pantry is requested for entry. Santa Trolley-Elfish Fun! Sunday, December 10 Times: 9:15-10:45A; 10-11:30A; 10:30-Noon; 11:15A-12:45P; 11:45-1:15P; 12:30-2:00P; 1:00-2:30P; 1:45-3:15P; 2:15-3:45P Supervisor: Susan Crane All aboard the Santa Trolley! e event starts and ends at the Oak Park Conservatory where you will see some special items on display while you wait to climb aboard the trolley bound for the North Pole. During your travels you will spend time with the Head Elf as she lis your spirits for your visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who await your arrival along with entertainment, milk and cookies! ALL RIDERS must be registered and paid to board the trolley. Please be sure you are registering all riders for the same trolley time. Space is limited, so sign up early and continue to check our website for updates. To ensure families can ride together, registration forms will only be accepted if they are dropped off, mailed to one of our registration centers, or faxed to (708) 725-2301. Registration will NOT be available online. Forms can be printed from our website at pdop.org/events/santatrolley or are available in person at GRC (21 Lake Street), RCRC (415 Lake Street) or our sponsor Geppetto's Toy Box (730 Lake Street). Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Oak Park resident registration will begin August 5 (family groups consisting of residents and non-residents will be accepted, when registration is being completed by a resident).
