Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Children are guaranteed to have a great time as they learn fascinating tricks from professional magician Gary Kantor. Amaze family and friends with tricks that involve cards, ropes, coins, mind-reading and more. While the tricks may appear difficult, you'll discover that they are quick to learn and easy to perform. All materials are provided, and each child receives a magic kit to take home. Children are grouped by age and will learn tricks that are age-appropriate. Additionally, you can sign up for this class again and again since brand new tricks are taught each session! Min 5/Max 35 Youth Video Game Club Supervisor: Peter Hanneman Does your child love video games but wants to know what exists past Minecra and Mario bros.? Send them to Game Club. Every month we bring in a wide assortment of games and consoles new and old for elementary-aged kids. It's a way to try new games and meet other kid gamers. Min 5/Max 20 Chess Class Supervisor: Amanda Heiman No previous knowledge of chess is necessary: players of all levels are welcome. Each class will consist of a fun interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both new and returning participants will get to the next level under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. Children will have an opportunity to test for a Chess BeltĀ® under a unique Chess Scholars system patterned aer martial arts belts. ere will also be a chess competition with prizes at the end of the session! We will feed them pizza, entertain them with activities, and round the night out with a movie and popcorn.
