Engage in an aernoon of art exploring the richness of clay and play dough, the power of the paint brush, and the creativity of the crayon! Different projects will be introduced to your child each week as they begin to create their very first portfolio of work. Min 5/Max 10 Let's Celebrate Supervisor: Barb Grooms Why wait for a birthday to have a party? Come celebrate with us during our themed celebrations. Each month participants will enjoy a pizza lunch followed by party games and activities. e day's event will finish with a special treat! Min 8/Max 15 Storybook Cooking Supervisor: Barb Grooms Enjoy a new cooking adventure each week as we make a storybook come to life...in the kitchen. Each week we will read a story and make a treat inspired by the tale. e class will provide opportunities for children to learn and practice important skills like following directions, sequencing skills, math, oral language and listening skills. Min 6/Max 12 Mini Chefs Supervisor: Barb Grooms Spend time messing up someone else's kitchen! In this class your child will enjoy mixing, stirring, measuring, and pouring their way to something tasty. Could it be pizza? Could it be pasta? Could it be pineapple pancakes? Whatever it will be, it will be delicious! Take home a new recipe with you each week. Additional activities connected to the weekly cooking theme will also keep your little chef busy while things are cookin' in the kitchen! Min 5/Max 10 Amazing Artists Supervisor: Barb Grooms Creating in the artistic style of.... your child will have the opportunity to learn about a famous artist and fashion a piece reflective of the artist's style. Painting, sculptures, sketches are just some of the possibilities for fun! Min 5/Max 12 Language Learners Supervisor: Barb Grooms In these classes young learners will be exposed to Spanish words and phrases as they socialize and interact with their peers during small and large group activities. Foods, art, music and stories will be part of the fun as participants gain an appreciation for other cultures. is is an introductory class that will involve repetition to increase exposure, comprehension, and connections to everyday activities that are familiar to our learners.
