Building from the previous level, Advance Jump and Spin will develop double jumps and advanced spinning including flying camel and flying sit spin, illusions, continuous walleys, rockers and counters in pattern. e first 20 minutes of class will be a warm-up and edge class. Min 4/Max 10 Tackle Axel/Double Jumps Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Prerequisite: Skaters must be currently enrolled in Free Skate 6 and up to enroll for this class. One of the most difficult jumps to master is the Axel Jump and double jumps. is class gives skaters the opportunity to focus on these jumps and work closely with the instructor on the key elements necessary to achieving these jumps. Min 4/Max 8 Dance for Figure Skaters Supervisor: Kayla Fauria Must be in levels Free Skate 5 or above to be eligible for this class. is strength and conditioning class is designed for skaters to improve their flexibility, strength, and endurance. is dynamic work out will aid young athletes in developing their bodies to be better equipped to handle their specific sport. Style and Conditioning will work on flexibility and strength while incorporating the movement of arm and leg extensions to help students be aware of their bodies. Freestyle ice time is for skaters who are looking for additional time to practice their skills individually or with a coach. ese sessions are available only to those skaters registered in the current Skate Academy program. Pre-Freeskate and below may use the ice when accompanied by a coach.
