Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 3/27, 3/31 Beginning Ballet and Tap Supervisor: Candace Lee Students will develop turnout, coordination, beginning tap skills and spatial awareness in this combination technique class while developing both friendships and their love of dance. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 3/26, 3/28, 3/31 Youth Performing Arts Intermediate Ballet Supervisor: Candace Lee Dancers continue to develop turn out, body alignment, discipline, intermediate barre and center work, and corps de ballet sequences. Dancers will develop positive self-awareness and connectedness to peers. Pre-requisite: Beginning Ballet must be taken at least twice or permission given by your instructor. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 03/26, 03/31 Hip Hop & Jazz Supervisor: Candace Lee Students will learn basic jazz and hip hop skills, including various ways for dancers to coordinate their bodies while dancing to different kinds of music and rhythms. is fusion class will keep your dancer entertained with skill development and group choreography. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 3/28 Tap & Jazz Supervisor: Candace Lee Supervisor: Candace Lee Young dancers will learn tap and jazz technique and skills to lively music while developing positive self-awareness and connectedness to peers. For beginner or intermediate tap and jazz dancers. Min 6/Max 12 Class does not meet: 3/28 Lyrical & Acro Supervisor: Candace Lee Dancers will use a fusion of ballet and jazz to interpret music and express emotion while telling a story. Acro skills teach the art of slow and controlled movements focusing on the flexibility of the back, legs and shoulders while improving balance, agility and coordination. Skills include handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, and contortion tricks at each student's level of technique.
