With staff guidance and encouragement, CIT's will work with campers, lead games and cras, and assist on field trips. Besides helping campers in your community, being a CIT is a great experience for young resumes. With two sessions of pre-camp training and two-week session options through- out the summer, your teen is sure to find a leadership opportunity that fits their schedule. Schedule Once a CIT has completed the Leadership training they are able to participate in as many Summer CIT sessions as they want. Sessions are two weeks long and go through our entire camp season. Once trained, a CIT will follow their camp's schedule which may vary from camp to camp. e CIT coordinator will visit all CITs during their sessions to observe them. Registration All CITs must first register for a training session before they can register for a camp session. e training must take place before their session. Once a CIT is registered for the training, and a two-week session, they will receive additional information about their camp roles during training.
