Adult Fencing
Supervisor: Chad Drue
En garde! Diana Unger, a certified coach with the
United States Fencing Association with more than
25 years of fencing experience, will teach you
the basics of fencing. Fencing requires patience,
concentration, discipline, and self-awareness.
Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional
strength gained from this sport will lead to a
healthier lifestyle. Weapons, jackets, and masks
will be provided and shared among classmates.
Participants must bring a glove for the hand they
write with. It does not have to be a fencing glove.
*Participants must obtain a $10 US Fencing
membership prior to first day of class

Adult Gymnastics
Supervisor: Jamie Lapke
is is a co-ed instructional class for adults who are
interested in learning gymnastics or maintaining
their gymnastics skills. Time will be spent on
gymnastics equipment as well as strength training
and stretching. Classes are 1 hour, 20 minutes.
Regular gymnastics cancellation policy applies.
Participants must be 18 years of age by 04/08/2018
to be eligible for this class.

Adult Co-ed Outdoor Soccer
League
Supervisor: Chad Drue
is adult recreational 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 soccer
leagues emphasize fun and participation. Teams
will play an eight game schedule. We will attempt
to place all teams registering but they will be
accepted on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Games, to
be announced, will be played at a synthetic surfaced
field. Times subject to change. Seaon may end early
based on number of rainouts.

Men's Basketball

Dust off your sneakers, its time for some hoops!
Practice your jump shot as teams will be formed
each program night playing games on a rotating
basis. Play only, no instruction is given. Children are
not allowed in the facility.

Women's Self Defense
Supervisor: Chad Drue
is program will utilize simple movement
techniques, conditioning and focusing to escape
from an assailant and render them temporarily
disabled. e program concentrates on a repetitive
defense approach that can be understood and
utilized by most women. You will learn basic
punching, blocking and kicking techniques,
breaking from one or two hand hold. You will also
learn how to tap into your natural power source,
control fear and adrenaline, setting verbal and
physical boundaries and more!

Adult Pickleball
Supervisor: Chad Drue
What is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.A? It's
PICKLEBALL. Pickleball is a paddle sport which
combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table
tennis. Pickleball can be played on a tennis court
with the dimensions of a badminton court and a
lowered net. It is played with a perforated plastic
baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or
composite paddles. Equipment will be provided by
the Park District.
