30 www.pdop.org Special Events Doggie Egg Scramble Saturday, March 31, 10-10:30A at Maple Park Supervisor: Amanda Heiman Doggies and their owners will hunt -or scramble- through the field to find the most doggy treat and prize filled eggs. Aer the hunt, a special visitor will stop by to take photos with each family. is is an on-leash event for friendly dogs and their families; children must be accompanied by an adult. is event will be held outdoors rain or shine. In the event of thunderstorms, the event will be postponed up to 30 minutes. FREE tickets will be available starting March 3 and can be picked up at ACL, RCRC or GRC. Brunch with the bunny Sunday, March 25, 12:00-2:00P Supervisor: Susan Crane With the first signs of Spring on the way, we welcome you to Cheney Mansion to enjoy a beautiful Sunday brunch buffet and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Games and activities await while the Easter Bunny visits with you and your family in the Cheney Library for a lovely photo keepsake. AGES 3-10 Min 50/Max 126 Location: Cheney Mansion Activity #161913-01 Res/NR: $30/45 Egg Hunt Saturday, March 31, 9:00A-12:00P Supervisor: Susan Crane e Bunnies have awoken from their slumber and le beautiful eggs in Maple Park for your children to find! Children ages 3-10 are encouraged to bring baskets, bonnets and bunny ears to participate in our annual egg hunt. e hunt for eggs will occur rain or shine so arrive appropriately dressed for maximum search time! Our Bunny will be on hand for pictures with the whole family and we will have themed games before and aer each hunt. e Egg hunt is a FREE event; ALL CHILDREN will need a ticket to participate. Tickets for each time slot are limited, so hippity-hop to Ridgeland Common (415 Lake Street), Gymnastics and Recreation Center, (21 Lake Street) or Geppettos' Toy Box at 730 Lake Street to pick yours up before they hop out the door! KidsFest Sunday, March 4, 10:00A-2:00P Join us in taking a journey through your own Illinois backyard discovering bugs, bees and other animals that live there. KidsFest includes free, hands-on educational activities, scavenger hunt, cras and entertainment. ALL AGES is popular annual family event is presented by the Friends of the Oak Park Conservatory (FOPCON). Due to the popularity of this event, tickets are FREE but required for entry! Free, timed-entry tickets are available online at pdop.org until Saturday, March 3 at noon. Mother's Day Teacup Gardening Saturday, April 28 10:00-11:30A & 1:00P-2:30P $25 per ticket Bring mom to the Conservatory for an early Mother's Day celebration. Enjoy a scrumptious continental breakfast during the morning session and finger sandwiches during the aernoon session. Todd and Holland Tea will be served.
