Advanced Jump & Spin Supervisor: Andy Gerow Prerequisite: Participants must receive passing permission from the Skate Academy Coordinator prior to entering this level. Building from the previous level, Advance Jump and Spin will develop double jumps and advanced spinning including flying camel and flying sit spin, illusions, continuous walleys, rockers and counters pattern. e first 10 minutes of class will be a warm-up and edge class. Min 4/Max 10 Tackle Axel/Double Jumps Supervisor: Andy Gerow Prerequisite: Skaters must be currently enrolled in Free Skate 6 and up to enroll in this class. e most difficult jumps to master are Axel Jump and Double Jumps. is class gives skaters the opportunity to focus on these jumps and work closely with the instructor on the key elements necessary to achieving these jumps. Min 4/Max 8 Creative Skating Supervisor: Andy Gerow is class will cover creative spins, spirals, moves, jumps and footwork. Skaters will have an opportunity to showcase their creative side which includes interpretive skating, connecting sequences, and combinations. e use of hoops, balls, and ribbons will be incorporated. Skaters must be in levels Basic 2 - Free Skate 4. Min 4/Max 15 Synchro Elements Supervisor: Andy Gerow Ready to add a team element to skating? Synchronized skating is a large and fast-growing discipline of figure skating where skaters perform on ice as a team, moving as one flowing unit at high speeds. Give synchronized skating a try. is class will teach the basics of the sport and incorporate skills learned in other classes into the group setting. is program is for participants that have passed Basic 2 and up that are 6-18 years old. ese workshops will give skaters a taste of what being on a syncro team is all about. Min 4/Max 30 Freeskate 1-6, Special Skating # of Classes RES NR 6 Classes $86 $113 7 Classes $100 $127 8 Classes $115 $142 No class 6/30, 7/3 and 7/5.
