Grant Park Music Festival -
Haydn and Debussy

Want to get out and enjoy some summer music, but
worried about the traffic and parking? Join the Park
District as we get you down and back safely to enjoy
Haydn and Debussy. Concert runs from 6:30-8:30P.
Please note this trip is on your own as no
chaperone is provided, the Park District is
providing transportation ONLY.

Water Taxi, River Museum
& Riverwalk
Supervisor: Gillian Summers
Come hop in a water taxi and ride out to the
bustling river walk, where you can saunter around
the shops, grab lunch and take a short walk to
the Chicago River Museum. Beginning at river
level and spiraling five stories up, this vertical
adventure provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to
explore a historic landmark bridge house. Visitors
also get a behind-the-scenes look at the inner
workings of Chicago's most famous movable bridge.
Transportation, museum entry & water
taxi included. Lunch is on your own.

Springfield Overnight

As we travel to our state capital we will spend the
evening at e State House Inn and wake up to a full
breakfast. ursday aernoon transportation will
be available to take groups to the attraction(s) of
their choice: Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library,
Old State Capital Building, Lincoln Home National
Historic Site/Executive Mansion, or the Camp
Butler National Cemetery between 12:00-5:00P.
Friday evening at 7:30P we will take the Lincoln
Ghost Walk: Legends and Lore a 90 minute, 5 block
lantern lit walking tour guiding us through strange
and bizarre stories surrounding Lincoln's life and
death. Following breakfast and check out we will
take the 11AM tour of the Dana omas House – A
Frank Lloyd Wright Design. To follow we will grab
a light lunch and board the bus back to Oak Park
at 2:00P. Transportation, accommodations
(Friday breakfast), Ghost Walk, & Dana-
omas House Tour included. Meals and
incidentals are on your own.

The Art Institute

Come join us for a day of art and culture in Chicago's
world renowned Art Institute. Just a block from
Lake Michigan. Composed of eight buildings, the
Art Institute covers nearly one million square feet
and boasts several outdoor spaces, each with their
own distinct characteristics. Transportation &
admission included. Lunch is on your own.

Architecture Sail

majesty as we sail the lakefront. You will be
delighted with the facts, stories, and sights that
