Sign up with our certified archery instructor(s), who will encourage and coach all ages and levels! Taken the class already? No problem! Instruction will be adjusted to meet your skill level. Classes will take place indoors during winter session. Join us while we discover a unique world in multicultural art. You will leave with a better understanding of the diverse world around you along with your handmade piece of art! Min 5/Max 20 Saturday STEM Challenge Supervisor: Leah Pryor Calling all aspiring scientists and engineers! Come out to Austin Gardens to test your skills with a STEM challenge. Keep your mind busy and active at the fun unique program. Each Saturday will feature a different challenge. Min 6/Max 16 Fairy Gardens Supervisor: Leah Pryor Whether you believe in fairies or not, folklore says you can find them nestled in flower petals, hiding under logs or dancing around the mushrooms. Join us at the Oak Park Conservatory for an enchanted aernoon creating your own fairy garden. Min 8/Max 20 Afterschool Ceramics Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Spend your time aer school in the ceramics studio. Kids will learn hand building and glazing skills through specially designed projects with the opportunity to create and design their own masterpieces! An introduction to wheel use will also be demonstrated and practiced during class time. All skill levels welcome! Min 4/Max 10 Let's Build It - Wacky Waves Supervisor: Megan Ulczak With instructor guidance, students will design, build, and test various circuits and electronic projects such as sound producing circuits, musical instruments, and a simulated telephone and radio. Students will use hands-on projects to explore how electricity is part of our daily lives. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to learn and build. Each student will receive an award on the last day of the session, as well as the opportunity to earn Energy Belts to demonstrate their learned skills! Min 6/Max 20
