Explore the history and future of video games with our huge collection of consoles and video games. Min 5/Max 20 Teen Trivia Night Supervisor: Lucie Harrison Test your knowledge and compete to win prizes. Participants will be broken into teams of four. Sign up as a group or come solo and join up with other players. Snacks and soda will be provided. Min 10/Max 30 Safe Sitter Essentials Supervisor: Lucie Harrison Featuring updated curriculum from Safe Sitter Inc.! Safe Sitter prepares students to be safe when they're home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who's choking, and helpful information like what to do if there's severe weather. e lessons are filled with fun activities and role- playing exercises. A pizza lunch is included! Safe Sitter course content includes: Safety Skills: Students learn how to prevent unsafe situations and what to do when faced with dangers such as power failures or weather emergencies. Child Care Skills: Students learn tips to manage behavior that will help them stay in control of themselves and the children in their care. Students also learn the ages and stages of child development, as well as practice diapering. Life & Business Skills: e ability to screen jobs, discuss fees, and greet employers will set students up for success. Students practice these skills through various role plays. Min 5/Max 15 Teen/Middle School Ceramics Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Students of all skill levels will learn to develop creativity in the ceramics studio. Pottery classes will cover: hand-building techniques, scoring, coil pots, intro to the wheel & glazing. Wheel classes will cover: centering, raising, opening, pulling & glazing Min 4/Max 10 Mystery & Halloween Halloween Scavenger Hunt Friday, October 4, 7:30-9:30P Supervisor: Lucie Harrison A puzzle and scavenger hunt designed to keep players on their toes while they search for answers all over Austin Gardens. Players will be provided a flashlight and there will be prizes & candy.
