We will work on fundamentals and game concepts in a competitive, fun environment! RISE coaches are former collegiate field hockey players. is program is for K-8th grade students. Athletes will need a stick, mouth guard, shin guards and protective eyewear. Equipment packages will be available. Supervisor: Pedro Flores Skateboarding is class is designed for those just starting out in skateboarding. Participants will learn the very basics of the sport such as proper foot positioning and pushing so that they can become comfortable skating flat ground and learn how their equipment works. Because skateboarding is an individual sport, participants will learn at their own pace with the help of experienced instructors who will give plenty of one-on-one time, even in this group setting. Participants must provide their own helmet and skateboard. Other pads are recommended. e skate park will be closed to the public during this program.
