Bring in your location of choice. We will be utilizing watercolors and acrylic paint in this fun and festive class. Choose between a sign, sun catcher, or wind chime. We will provide the materials. For this project, please bring your empty milk jugs with handles or similar container (made from plastic that can be cut through easily). We'll provide the rest! Ages 10+ Res Fee $25 - Fee $30 Location: Dole Center - Studio 3 Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Build a Pinhole Camera Tuesday, August 18, 9:00A-12:00P See the magic of photography by making a simple camera and using it to make a photograph. In this class, you will build your own pinhole camera from a light-proof box with a tiny hole that will create an image on light sensitive paper. en you will develop the image in a traditional darkroom. No camera needed for this photography class. Ages 10+ Res Fee $30 - Fee $39 Location: Dole Center - Studio 3 Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Nested Wire Rings Tuesday, Aug 25, 6:00-8:30P A great intro class for those who would like to try their hand at wire wrapping. Students will learn how to make a nest ring with a bead and one single piece of wire. We will go over techniques for ring sizing, wrapping and nesting the wire around the bead, coiling the wire for the ring band and tucking in the wire ends to finish. Materials are provided. Enameled copper wire, copper wire and semi-precious stones will be used. 2 rings per person.
