Students learn how to punch, block and use boxing combinations depending on skill level achieved. Students become more physically fit and learn the whole-body coordination. Min 6/Max 10 Supervisor: Chad Drue Adult Beginning/Continuing Fencing En garde! Diana Unger is a certified coach with the United States Fencing Association with over 30 years of experience. You will learn the basic principles of foil fencing. e quickness and athleticism of the sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Fencing can boost confidence, improve self-control, and increase emotional strength. Weapons, jackets, and masks will be provided and shared among classmates. Participants must obtain a $10 U.S. Fencing membership prior to the first day of class at www.usafencing.org. Participants must also bring a glove for the hand they write with. It does not have to be a fencing glove. Min 4/Max 10 Supervisor: Chad Drue Adult Ninja Warriors Working off an integrated structure, this class is appropriate for the beginner and advanced participant. It's all about progression in each obstacle and each individual putting themselves to the test week aer week. Class will include beginner, intermediate and challenging obstacles aimed at building both strength, balance and agility. Class will typically include three circuits with 5-8 stations (obstacles) per circuit. Each 55-minute class is based on a continually-evolving lesson plan and set of obstacles and circuits aimed at providing a foundation of strength, agility and balance. Our mission is to strive to have all achieve, grow in perseverance, athleticism, confidence and have fun doing it! Held at Windy City Ninjas, at 648 W. Lake St. in Elmhurst. Min 5/Max 10 Supervisor: Chad Drue Adult Co-ed Kickball League Grab your adult friends and play some pick-up kickball. e game isn't solely for kids! Teams will play a six game season with play-offs for those teams that qualify. Min 4/Max 5 Supervisor: Chad Drue Golf Lessons ere is no better way to improve your game than taking lessons from a trained golf instructor. Group instruction is an excellent way to receive the essential information on not only how to swing, but how to putt, chip and play the game better! Whether you are picking up a club for the first time or looking to reduce your handicap to single digits, make a great investment and take a lesson from a professional. Each class will have a 6:1 student to instructor ratio and lessons focus weekly on proper grip and posture, putting, full swing and chipping. e Learning Center at Fresh Meadow Golf Club is located at 11302 Cermak Road in Hillside, IL.
