Adult Hockey Beginner Skills to be learned include skating basics like crossovers and stopping, stick handling, passing, and shooting, no experience required. Equipment required: skates, shin pads, hockey pants, elbow pads, shoulder pads, gloves, helmet, stick. Min 10/Max 30 Supervisor: Dan Seltzer/Jon Kreyer Adult Level 1 Adult Hockey Level 1 provides a combination of skill development and game play. Players will be divided into two teams. Time will be split between practices and games. Full equipment is required for this program. Players will receive a jersey. Min 6/Max 40 Supervisor: Dan Seltzer/Jon Kreyer Adult Hockey Level 2 League rules include no checking, no slap shots, and a zero tolerance policy for unsportsmanlike conduct. Players in this program should have experience playing high school or college hockey. For summer 2021, players will register for the program and then be divided into teams. e league reserves the right to move players from team to team to ensure quality of program. Adult Figure Skating-Beg/Interm Beginner level introduces skating by developing falling and recovery, forward marching, forward glides and forward swizzles, snowplow stops, two-foot turns and gliding into dips. Intermediate builds on skills learned in beginner. Are you worried you'll be too busy to make it to all of the classes? Players will participant in 3 vs 3, half or 1/3 ice games. One team captain will register the team of up to 6 players. Rules • Puck is in play at all times • No lines (blue, red, goal) • Penalties are the same as in regular hockey • NO slap shots, NO checking, and NO raising the puck above the knees • For infractions, a goal is awarded to the opposing team • ere are no referees; judges/scorekeepers will preside • Players cannot lay out in front of the goal or stand in crease • Aer a goal is scored, teams will be allowed "free puck" • Periods – two ten minute running time periods See page 61 for Youth Pond Hockey.
