All players will receive a uniform and basketball with the cost of registration. Practices will take place on either Tuesday or ursday evenings between 5:00-9:00P for the 3rd-6th grade level with games on Sundays and practices on Tuesdays, with games on ursdays or Sundays for the 7th-8th grade level. ALL PLAYERS will have to attend the evaluation day. Volunteer coaches will utilize this assessment as the basis for forming the teams at the coaches meeting. Practice and team requests will not be honored for this league. ere will be a limit of 10 players on each team to maximize playing time. Special requests for team placement cannot be granted. Evaluation will take place weekend of January 15. Dates and times will be confirmed near the evaluation date. Practices will officially start the week of January 24 and will take place once a week on either Tuesday or ursday evenings. All practices will be aimed at fundamental skill instruction and preparation for league play. Regular season games for the 3rd-6th grade leagues will be played on Sundays from 9:00A-4:00P. Due to school availability, some games may take place on Saturday. 7th and 8th grade league games will be played on ursday evenings with the possibility of the occasional Sunday game. 3rd-8th grade leagues, will compete in an annual end-of-season tournament. All practices and games for all leagues will take place in Oak Park. Times and days subject to change based on facility availability. Volunteer Head Coaches will contact players the week of January 18 with information regarding your child's practice time and location. Please note that your child's practice schedule will be consistent for the entire season (same gym, day & time). Volunteer coaches will select their practice location, time and day of the week based on their availability. is league is dependent on the utilization of volunteer coaches.
