on the Trolley!

Do you have what it takes to solve this Park District
who-done it as you wind your way through clues and
Park District locations? Find clues at each stop and
work your way through this murderous mystery. Did
Miss Apple use the rope at the Conservatory? Or was
it Professor Peach with the candlestick in the kitchen
at Cheney? Join us for a fun night of sipping, eating
and solving. Start your evening with small bites at
e Conservatory, enjoy dinner at Cheney Mansion
and finish the evening at Austin Gardens. Costumes
encouraged! Ticket includes food and drink tickets.

It's a Wrap Wrapping Party!

Have you struggled with wrapping those special
gis? Tired of just a gi bag and tissue? Just in time
for the Holidays, bring your three toughest gis as
the experts from Paper Source, Oak Park host an
instructional and good old-fashioned wrapping
party! ey will show you tips, tricks and trims
for making those gis shine. All materials will be
provided by the wonderful inventory of Paper Source.
We will have snacks and wine to sip while you turn on
those creative juices to produce spectacular gis!

Holiday Wreath Making

Kick off holiday decorating or create the final touch
with a beautiful wreath. We will have materials on
hand for you to create a beautiful holiday wreath to
adorn your favorite spot in your home or on your
door! We will use a mixture of materials and cra
elements to welcome the season! Note: Registration
will close two days prior to the class to purchase
materials for all participants. Enjoy a glass of wine
and snacks as you create your wreath! Ages 21+

Eve of the Eve Wine, Dine and
Dance!

Don't want to be out with the amateurs on New Year's
Eve? Come to Cheney Mansion the day before and
have a lovely dinner, wine and lively dancing with
your partner guided by the Park District Dance
instructors and a DJ spinning you through the
evening! Our evening will be a speakeasy theme, so
there may even be an opportunity to roll the dice and
take your chance with the spin of the wheel! Dressing
in the theme is a bonus! Registration for two includes
dinner, dancing and drink tickets. Ages 21+

A Spanish Dinner and Wine
Tasting with Maya Del Sol

Join representatives from Maya Del Sol for an evening
of wonderful spices and depths of Spanish food
paired with wines from this rich country. Whites and
reds to match wonderfully with the rich cuisine of
local favorite Maya Del Sol. Ages 21+

Stews and Braising with Carnivore

stews and the long, slow and delicious flavors of
braising meat or fish. Join the experts from Carnivore
in the kitchen at Cheney for a hands-on demo of the
best fish to create a warm stew or the best cut of meat
for that perfect braise. Carnivore will have their own
delicious examples for you to taste. Bring along your

Teen Cooking Around the World!

Join Chef Tara Humphrey of Global Peel for a culinary
and cultural tour around the world through food. In
our first session with teens, we will begin with Africa
where the start of all life began with delicious flavors
and textures. Your teen will learn proper techniques
in the kitchen, develop their knife skills, and enhance
their knowledge in baking and frying. Sample your
dishes and learn more about the culture of Africa
in the dining room of Cheney Mansion. Ages 12-16
