Wall Garland

Do you rent or live in a dorm and have a sad blank
wall? Give your space some personality by creating a
fun wall garland. Participants will be provided with
all the materials and guidance to create a unique
hanging piece for their home. ey are light enough
to hang using command hooks or tape! Ages 10+

Winter Collage

Collage a unique wintery landscape of trees utilizing
recycled magazines. Supplies included and all skill
levels welcome. Ages 7+

Card Making
Saturday, Dec 10, 12:00-2:00P
is custom of sending greeting cards can be traced
back to Asia and early Egyptians who conveyed their
greetings on papyrus scrolls. In this workshop, each
participant will create ten handmade 5x4 folded
greeting cards for any occasion. Decorating methods
include stamping designs with various colored inks
and heat setting with embossing powder. Instruction
will include how to give your cards elements of
dimension. Design details include using stickers,
specialty scissors and a punch tool. A variety of hand-
marbled paper and origami paper will be available for
collage techniques. Ages 8+

Felt Bird Ornaments

Decorate your home and tree with some colorful felt
birds. ese ornaments are lightweight and can be

a classic moon and stars Victorian art motif.
Participants will be utilizing tracing paper to achieve

create a fun and bold monotone abstract design
on thick professional art paper. Learn the art of the

Geometric Sculpture

called Himmeli serve as an educational bridge to
learning about platonic solids and more complicated
geometric shapes. Ages 7+

Altered Clothes Design

Breathe new life into shirts, jeans, and more using
common art (that you probably already have). Fabric
medium is a clear acrylic fluid that can help make
many drawing and painting supplies more permanent
and washable on fabric. Ages 7+

Narrative Collage

Choose from a personal photo bank, then rebuild an
image using paper, glue, and paint, telling a visual
story about their chosen subject matter. Portions of
the collage, such as faces and figures, may be printed
in black and white on paper, cut out, and painted with
opaque watercolor. Ages 7+
