human veterans but our animal ones as well! From
horses and dogs to even rats and pigeons, creatures
from all over the animal kingdom are used in the
military, and we're learning about their heroic tales.

Recycled Wrapping

Now that Black Friday's over it's time to wrap those
gis! In this workshop, we'll use recycled materials to
wrap our gis just in time for Chanukah, Christmas,
or those December birthdays. Feel free to bring
presents of your own to wrap. Ages 7+

Coffee with the Birds

Many birds spend their winters in the Chicago area,
like cardinals, chickadees, and juncos. Visit Austin
Gardens bright and early this Saturday as we do
some window birdwatching, and learn how to attract
winter birds at home! Coffee, cocoa, and light pastries
provided. Ages 7+

Witamy! In honor of Casimir Pulaski Day on Monday,
we're taking a look at some of the wildlife that
represents the home of over one million residents
of Chicagoland! From the White-tailed Eagle to the
European Bison, we'll explore animals of all kinds and
make our own coat of arms. Ages 7+
