e "Women in Nature" lecture series for February
features two black female scientists. Some of the
earliest naturalists and conservationists were women,
and we're here to give them a spotlight. Each month's
lecture features a different area of the natural world,
and 2-3 women who studied it, or still are today.

All month long our fitness instructors will
incorporate black musicians into the class playlists to
hold up important contributions from Black artists.

strengthening your heart muscle while dancing to
the hottest tunes? WERQ is the fiercely fun dance,
fitness class taught be Certified Professionals.

AfriCaribe - African Caribbean
Dance Workshop

AfriCaribe is a non-profit organization dedicated
to the preservation, research, promotion, and
development of the Puerto Rican and Caribbean
cultures through music, dance,theater, and other
artistic media. AfriCaribe seeks to accomplish its
mission by developing a performance ensemble
utilizing dance, music, theater, and other artistic
forms with which to celebrate cultural traditions.
While reflecting the influence of other ethnic and
cultural groups, AfriCaribe's primary focal point is
the African culture of the Caribbean. No experience
necessary. ere will be a 90-minute master class
followed by a 20-minute demonstration/history
presentation. All ages welcome!
