Well look no further! In our new, state-of-the-art E-Sports Gaming lounge, perfect skills, practice playing with teammates, and even learn the proper ergonomics of being a competitive gamer. Campers will be able to show off all that they have learned with a camp-wide, E-Sports tournament. No Experience Required! Ages 11-15 Res Fee $130 - Fee $150 Location: E-Sports Lounge @ CRC Supervisor: TJ Eichwald Calling all cooking enthusiasts! Join one of many sessions cooking with Chef Tara Humphrey of the Global Peel. Chef Tara leads uniquely themed, hands-on cooking classes that perfectly blend history, anthropology, science, and math while eating like a global traveler! No two classes are the same. Ages 12-16 Cooking Camp New Jun 12-16 • Jun 19-23 • Jun 26-30 • Jul 3-7 • Jul 10-14 • Jul 17-21 • Jul 24-28 • Jul 31-4 1:00-3:00P Spend a week with Chef Tara learning the proper knife skills and enhance your knowledge of cooking styles and flavors. Sample your dishes and learn more bout the cultures and history of humanity. Each week campers will explore a different geographic location along with the history, food, and flavors from that area. Res Fee $130 - Fee $150 Location: D97 School TBD Supervisor: Megan Ulczak Cooking at Cheney Mansion – Cooking Around the World Moments in Time Aug 7-11, 9:00A-12:00P Highlights of this week include a menu from the Titanic, the oldest known recipes, European Medieval recipes, and more. Techniques include making tamales, menus from different classes during this time period, and the science of cooking. Learn history, eat lunch, and share our common story in the Cheney kitchen and dining room. Res Fee $280 - Fee $300 Location: Cheney Mansion Supervisor: Susan Crane e Transatlantic Slave Trade Aug 14-18, 9:00A-12:00P Your camper will cook and investigate the history and flavors of the transatlantic slave trade. Each day, your camper will discover a new port from the route and understand the significance of slavery on every meal we eat. Techniques this week will include African swallow foods, food evolution, and working with seafood. Learn history, eat lunch, and share our common story with your fellow students in the Cheney kitchen and dining room.
