We're digging into the dirt today to uncover fossils, make a few of our own, and learn about prehistoric life both big and small. We're making our own s'mores today and learning this history of the campfire classic. Ages 7+ Res Fee $13 - Fee $18 Location: Austin Gardens Cyanotypes & Anna Atkins Saturday, Jul 15, 12:30-2:00P Cyanotype is a type of chemical printing dating back to the 1800s; Anna Atkins was the first person to use it for scientific purposes by making beautiful blue prints of algae and ferns. We're making our own cyanotypes today of native plants and learning all about this brilliant female botanist. Ages 7+ Res Fee $17 - Fee $22 Location: Austin Gardens Stories of the Stars Saturday, Jul 15, 8:30-9:30P Space – the final frontier. Before we knew what went on in our solar system, people used the stars to tell stories and myths that we still know today. Join us for a telescope stargazing session and listen to the stories these constellations tell.
