Pony Bead Sun Catchers

or garden. We'll use translucent pony beads melted
together to build one-of-a-kind circular sun catchers.

Metallic Butterflies

Metal adds a really cool dimension to flat surfaces.
Select a butterfly stencil to trace onto our metal
sheets. Cut and paint using a variety of acrylic colors.
A wonderful addition to your bulletin board, garden,
sunroom, etc. Ages 10+

Felt Plant

Make a plant that will never die using felt,
embellishments, and a pot. Participants will look to
examples and the instructors suggestions to create
a 3D faux plant out of felt and extras like beads,
buttons, paper, and paint. Ages 7+

Luminous Black Glue Prints

Welcome to the art of decalcomania. is artistic
technique creates a random texture that resembles
spindly tree branches, feathery foliage, or frost
patterns. We will enhance with metallic liquid
watercolor paints and create a moody, luminous
landscape or a fun abstract that glows. Ages 7+

Liquid Glitter Painting

How can you make glitter less messy? Liquify it!
Combine the glitter colors of your choice in clear
glue to create a custom palette for your original work
of art. Using traditional paint first, participants will
layer their glitter "paint" as a top coat to add some
sparkle and shine. Ages 7+

Custom Yoyo

June 6th is National Yoyo Day. Join us and get a
yoyo of your very own to customize! We'll use paint,
glitter, and some fun embellishments to personalize a
special one-of-a-kind toy. Ages 7+

Custom Chia Art

Chia Pet is an American icon. We'll use sponge
paper, waterproof markers, and chia seeds to create
a custom Chia seed growing canvas. Create a self-
portrait, draw your pet, or perhaps invent an animal.
Replant with other "hair" like seeds such as grass,
alfalfa, radish, broccoli, fenugreek, and lettuce to
continue the fun. Ages 7+

Paper Mache Dinosaur Eggs

Welcome to Dinosaur Days! Celebrate the first day of
this theme week with us at Dole Center, where we'll
create unique and one-of-a-kind dino eggs using
paper-mâché techniques and a variety of art supplies.

Ceramic Dinosaur Garden Decor

Your garden is missing prehistoric creatures. Glaze
premade ceramic dinosaurs in any colors you'd like.
We have fun texture glazes as well that could give
your new pet a unique edge. Pieces are intended to
roam your garden but can be brought in as a house
pet during those colder months. One piece per
person. Ages 7+

Dino-Stuffy

Create a plush snuggle buddy shaped like a dinosaur.
Using fabric/hot glue, hand sewing, and a variety of
patterned fabrics, we'll build our own dino friend.
Stencils and embellishments will be provided to help
you along the way and bring your dinosaur to life.

Pulp Painting

Press the torn bits of wet tissue paper onto a canvas
to form a thicker, stronger paper. Create colorful
abstractions, landscapes, and more with this fun
technique. Ages 7+

Suminagashi

An ancient meditative Japanese practice of gently
floating pigments on the surface of water with a
brush and then capturing the mono print image on
an absorbent paper. Learn historical background and
the time-honored technique and several possibilities.

Acrylic Skins Mosaics
Friday, Jul 21, 6:00-8:00P
Acrylic isn't just for painting. Acrylic paint dries to
form a flexible and durable material that resembles
a skin or thick fabric. In this workshop, we'll cut the
acrylic into pieces and work it into a mosaic pattern
on a glass object. Each participant will leave with
their very own. Age 7+
