Spring Wreath Making

Create a beautiful seasonal spring wreath to welcome
your guests in the beauty of Cheney Mansion. We
will use a mixture of floral pieces and cra elements
that can be the showcase for your entryway all season
long! Your registration includes all materials as well
as we will provide wine for you to sip as you create
and socialize with others. Registration will close two
days prior to the class date to allow class materials to
be purchased for all participants. Ages 21+

and learning about their businesses and passions?
Come to the patio of Cheney Mansion to meet the
teams from local breweries. ey will have season
appropriate tastings and talk about what makes their
breweries and product so great. We will have snacks

Northern Italy vs Southern Italy
with Anfora Wine Merchants

Italy is one of the largest wine producers in the world.
However, wines from northern Italy and wines from
southern Italy are very different. Join the team from
Anfora Wine Merchants in Oak Park in a tasting
of the differences in wines from these two regions.
Light appetizers will be provided with your tasting.
Weather permitting, we will be on the patio for a
lovely start to spring. Ages 21+

Fish 101 with Carnivore Oak Park

Join the team from Carnivore Oak Park on the
Cheney Mansion patio for the basics on cleaning
and filleting a fish. Also watch sample demos on
preparing fish properly for the grill. All products are
from Carnivore's fantastic inventory of products.
Carnivore will provide sample tastings so bring along
your favorite beverage to sip. Ages 21+

Sizzling Summer Dance!

Step out for hot nights of summer dance at Cheney
Mansion. Join us in May and July for both instruction
and open dancing on the patio at Cheney Mansion.
Each month will be themed music and instruction
from our PDOP expert dance instructors. You will
work up an appetite, so we will have tasty appetizers
and two drink tickets (included in registration). Non-
alcoholic beverages will also be available. Ages 21+

is program is in partnership with the Animal Care
League, helping homeless animals since 1973.
$10 of your registration fee goes to support the
Animal Care League. Ages 21+

Music on the Patio!

Enjoy a summer evening hour-long performance
from the Symphony of Oak Park and River Forest on
the lighted patio of Cheney Mansion. e Symphony
of Oak Park and River Forest is the country's oldest
community symphony and have performed all
around the Chicagoland area. Bring along your comfy
chair or blanket to spread out on the south lawn of
Cheney Mansion. We will also have some chairs
available as well. Your registration will include two
glasses of wine, beer or non-alcoholic beverage per
person registered. Cheney Mansion will also provide
light appetizers for you to enjoy before or during the
performance. Entry will be through the front gate
where your drink tickets will be handed out.

Summer Menu Workshop with
Maya Del Sol!

Since 2007, Maya Del Sol has provided Latin
American cuisine in Oak Park. Join the chef and
team from Maya Del Sol on the patio for preparing
and tasting some of their classic, seasonal menu
items using bold and innovative flavors and seasonal
ingredients. Recipes will be included for you to
take home and duplicate for your own summer
celebrations! e team from Maya will make beer/
wine recommendations for you to bring along to pair
with your food tasting. Ages 21+

Ancient Vines with Anfora Wine
Merchants

As part of PDOP's Dinosaur Days,
who says adults can't enjoy a bit of
prehistoric history. Join the team from
Anfora Wine Merchants in Oak Park for an evening
of understanding and a tasting of wines from old
vines. ese vines produce wonderfully concentrated
flavors, but not in large productions. Unlike our
giant Jurassic friends, with proper care these vines
will continue to produce wonderful wines. Light
appetizers will also be provided to balance out your
tastings. Weather permitting, we will be enjoying this
tasting on the patio! Ages 21+
