Swim School (Ages 6-13)
e Swim School curriculum is divided into five stages reflecting the five core competencies of functional
swimming: Trust and Submersion, Body Position and Air Recovery, Forward Movement and Direction Change,
Rotary Movement, and Integrated Movement. is course will develop a high comfort level in the water and
teach functional swim skills. Students in this level will work toward the development of the five core swimming
competencies using age-appropriate learning activities. Learning is self-paced, but challenging.

The Ultimate Aquatic Challenge
Sundays, 7:00-8:00P, Jun 11 • July 16 • Aug 13
Are you up for the Challenge? Enjoy a night of laughs, tumbles, and unlimited
fun as the whole family takes on a giant floating obstacle course. Participants
must be at least 8 years of age to utilize the Wibits. All ages are welcome to
attend and swim in other areas of the pool. All Ages
Per Session: Pool Passholders - FREE!
Non-Passholders, $15
Location: Ridgeland Common Recreation Complex
Stroke School (Ages 6-13)
is course is for students who have mastered functional swimming and would like to fine-tune techniques and
develop endurance. Students refine freestyle and learn stroke technique for the four competitive strokes. Students
ages 11+ who are familiar with all strokes are also encouraged to register for Swim Team Prep, listed under
Specialty Swim Classes.
