The level progresses from the previous levels by focusing on the intricate technique of the arms, legs and breathing in the freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Skill work is lengthened to one or more widths of the pool while maintaining the technique of each skill. Butterfly kicking, butterfly arms, dolphin dives, and sitting dives are also developed in this level. Class does not meet: F, Jul 4 or Sa, Jul 5 Min 4/Max 8 Kids Swim 4 (Ages 6-13) Supervisor: Jackie Sturtz Prerequisite: Must receive passing recommendation from Kids Swim 3 prior to registering for this level. The level focuses on perfecting the technique of each stroke and extending the distance traveled to build endurance. The level combines the butterfly skill work to produce the full stroke and includes treading water, kneeling dives, standing dives and endurance swimming Class does not meet: F, Jul 4 or Sa, Jul 5.
